Alignment with International Standars
> Our global spiral Computing and ICT curriculum is the first of its kind for K-12,
encompassing all essential 21st-century and real-life technology skills. Initially reviewed and
awarded the Seal of Alignment with the ISTE Standards for Students in 2014 for our Digital
Kids and Digital Teens series, our curriculum has undergone several subsequent reviews to
ensure adherence to current standards. Most recently, in 2023, we completed a thorough
review to ensure full compliance with the new ISTE Standards, encompassing all materials
in our series, including Can Code and Robotics.
> All of our Computing and ICT series meet the DQ Framework standards, which form the
foundation of the IEEE 3527.1 Standard. This standard is globally recognized as the first
of its kind for digital literacy, skills, and readiness – known as the IEEE 3527.1 Standard for
Digital Intelligence.
Comprehensive Coding and Robotics
Syllabus
We provide the most extensive Coding and Robotics syllabus with resources for the core
school curriculum or as extra STEM activities. We have developed a series of supplementary
materials specifically for computational thinking in the different age groups. We continuously
add more content based on teacher feedback and the latest trends and developments in
Computer Science education.
Our coding and robotics resources are adaptable for various grades, depending on students’
knowledge and experience in technology and the available teaching hours per grade. Schools
can tailor our recommended sequence to their specific needs by rearranging the ebooks
provided for each grade level on the Binary Academy platform.
